Gakharia for Georgia says its MPs will give up their seats if the party is banned
Shalva Kereselidze, an MP from Gakharia for Georgia, told a parliamentary briefing on 26 October that the party's members will leave their seats if the Constitutional Court bans it. The party has 11 MPs, all elected on its proportional list. The court is hearing a lawsuit by 88 Georgian Dream MPs seeking to ban five opposition parties; hearings resume on 26 October.
