Caucasian Knot: Georgia's opposition declares a new wave of protests
Caucasian Knot, an independent Russian-language outlet covering the Caucasus, reports that on 25 October, the 697th day of daily protests, opposition parties and civil society marched from Tbilisi State University toward Rustaveli Avenue under the slogan 'Georgia without Ivanishvili'. Nika Gvaramia called it the start of a new wave rather than of the protest itself. The march came as the Constitutional Court hears the case to ban opposition parties.
The outlet cites Publika for the figure of thousands; it gives no independent count.
