PSG's Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will have surgery on the torn cruciate ligament in his right knee early this week at the Aspetar clinic in Doha, L'Équipe reports, as relayed by Crystalsport; the exact day has not been given. He was hurt on 20 October in PSG's 4–2 Champions League win over Barcelona. Reuters says the injury is likely to end his season, as ACL tears usually need at least six months of recovery.

The surgery location is L'Équipe's report; we have not seen official PSG confirmation. The injury itself dates from 20 October (background).
