'Save Expo': architects protest against high-rise plans on the Expo Georgia grounds
The 'Save Expo' initiative of architects and urban specialists rallied on the Expo Georgia grounds in Didube on 25 October against planned residential towers of 12–30 storeys, a hotel and a mall. They demand a halt to permits until a public hearing. Expo Georgia's director says the pavilions will be kept and the recreation area enlarged.
